Vintage XL Louis Vuitton French Company Monogram Travel Steamer Bag

This large and very rare travel bag was made under special license by The French Company for Louis Vuitton, long before LV had a boutique presence in the USA. Produced for only a short period, these incredible French Company pieces are so hard to find nowadays and are perfect for the LV collector! Made from Louis Vuitton’s signature monogram canvas, this steamer tote is trimmed in saddle leather, fully-lined in brown fabric and features a separate zippered bottom compartment. Has 2 FC locks, no keys.

Substantial in size, it measures 21in H x 17in L x 11in D with a 4in handle drop.

Condition:In very good vintage pre loved , condition, we note rubs to the leather trim (most obvious at the bottom corners). The interior on the top compartment is clean; the bottom shows some wear and watermarks. The leather patch on the front has initials. Tagged on the interior LOUIS VUITTON PARIS MANUFACTURED UNDER SPECIAL LICENSE BY THE FRENCH COMPANY USA. no foul odors but this is vintage so it will not smell new.

 

Please note: We will completely clean, blend in watermarks, and touch up the leather as much as possible prior to ship.  It will also be conditioned and disinfected.
